John is the best!! Natasha is OK, but Christy is always HORRIBLEY RUDE and very close to incompetent! Christy did not count my money correctly and gave back wrong amount. When i questioned the amount, she was rude, made excuses, etc. When I call on the phone and she answers she is RUDE. BB&T over all as a bank has been fine and I have not had any problems. I love the on-line free banking.
After waiting 35 minutes, I was told I needed to open a joint account with my child.
Lets start with "banker's hours": while many financial institutions are open longer for customers' convenience, BBT still doesn't open until 9 am and closes at 5:00. They are also not opened on Saturday.
I even said they could place a hold on the fund until the check cleared.
As a long time BBT customer, I am continually surprised how they can have such incredibly poor service and stay in business.
Do not use overdraft protection... they let about 10 things that were pending for 10 days all go thru right when I got down to my last. Over 400$ in over draft fees alone. The bank didn't want to do anything about it but "submit a complaint". Then charged another fee for my account to be in the negative for 5 days. They will play with your money and quote policy repeatedly when you ask for help. I will be taking my money elsewhere.
I'm moving all my business to my credit union.
They called the other financial institution to verify funds.
I've got multiple accounts with BBT.

I would definitely give this branch 5 stars Natasha and especially Caleb, the manager did a great job in helping us to complete a car sale transaction to an older gentleman for his son. We encountered several snags and Caleb calmly and very professionally solved every single issue.
Goodbye BBT, good luck with your poor business model and unacceptable customer service.
Second, the child is a minor and do not need a bank account. I understand "branding" and by opening an account for my child, I make a BBT customer at a young age and that increases the chance the child becomes a customer when the child is an adult and wants credit.
I went to the bank today around 1230 pm and withdraw cash I went back at 323pm to get a temporary card. I talked with Cassandra I gave her my paper driver license. She doing everything but her job which is to give me the card I asked for. She go on and tell me that I was just there and I didn’t have on a hat. Well ma’am i had on a wig and took it off so can I get my card. She asked me how much money did I just get out of my account
Recently, they refused to accept a check for deposit from another financial institution that was addressed to me and my minor child.
